the Doom blog is actually a separate account because when I made it I didn’t know how to make a sub-blog (also fun fact, taht was the second attempt I made at it because the first one got super looked over, this current one only got so popular because the goddamned doomguy reblogged a few things from it)

in terms of fandom consumption, would you label yourself more of a primary or a secondary?
AnonymousIt really depends on what fandom, like Doom for instance: I draw absurd amounts of stuff yet I actually haven’t played it in ages! Or like Boku no Hero, I draw maybe some here and there but am actively keeping up with the manga (and catching up with the anime when I have the time).
But I have to say, when I first read this, all I could think of was

Sure, I can list off a few specific tracks for you! “Roll The Dice” and Punkywhitenoisething (Lunatic Calm), “Peace Repackaged” (Lionrock), “Blackbeat” and “Raw Power” (Apollo 440), “Break In [Transatlantic Move Mix]” (Cirrus), and I’d also recommend “Disco Machine Gun” (Lo-Fidelity Allstars) as good starting points. The YouTube channel “Oldie Beat” is also an incredibly reliable archive of music in that same sort of style, for future reference!

Pardon this entirely unprompted music recommendation, but if’n ya dig the stuff Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy make, you’ll probably also like a few other Big Beat based acts like these: Lunatic Calm, Apollo 440, Cirrus, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Hardknox, Death In Vegas, Lionrock, and a whole host of others I could mention but I’ll cap myself off here, haha.
Oh heck I’ve heard a few from these guys! Specifically Leave You Far Behind, but I think the one I have is a remix? And I freakin love Can’t Stop The Rock! Thank you so much for the recommendations, I’m gonna have to look more into these!

you're the only other ace person i know so sorry for anon but. uhhhh basically i'm ace as well (not aro) and i'm dating, but he's typical and so likes sex and such. he's been 100% respectful of ace me (it's SO NICE not hearing "oh you just haven't tried it!", etc) but at the same time i know he's hurting and needs release. i don't know what to do or if i should feel bad for not being able to or if i should try to anyway but at the same time i just DO NOT WANT IT. idk i just needed to acevent sry
AnonymousAh heck don’t feel bad! And it’s so nice you have someone like that who respects your asexuality! I hate to say I’m probably not the best person to give advice, but unless you’re sex-repulsed you could try it with him? If things go south I’m sure he’d understand completely, just be sure to let him know how you feel at all times. Communication is important! If you are sex-repulsed however, I’m sure he can get… er, things, to help him with his personal needs. Or has he tried already?
