I also entered the costume contest as a beginner and was nervous as heck but ended up getting first place in the intermediate category??
Won a weekend pass for next year along with a wig and those adorable chopsticks, and bought that freakin adorable fruitbat and did you know they made PAD figurines ‘cause I sure didn’t

Oh right guess I should mention, I’m going to Miyakocon this weekend! Probably both days, not sure what I’ll wear but I’ll at least be Mezou Shouji one day. Hope to see some friendly faces there! I’ll be sure to post pics afterwards
And part two! That last pic might seem a bit unimpressive but it was an improve dance contest and good god it was so wonderfully entertaining even if the audio quality was just horrible. Team Dab Skull was there too and it was just so wonderful (forgot to get a pic of them) also there was this amazing Belle who won the “everybody is a winner but if we had to pick one it’s you” award
Part one of MiyakoCon! Went super last minute with my sis ‘cuase our grandma of all people told us about it yesterday. Wasn’t expecting much for a small con, but it was super fun and full of cosplayers! If you happen to see yourself on here, please let me know so I can properly tag!
