The fish was discovered not in water but in damp soil.
There’s a tiny, blind, pink catfish that slithers around in wet forest litter in the amazon and that always blew my mind but this is even more amazing and I’m so upset that we only ever found one of them so recently and I’ll likely never live to see a world where you can get one at the aquarium store
