you're the only other ace person i know so sorry for anon but. uhhhh basically i'm ace as well (not aro) and i'm dating, but he's typical and so likes sex and such. he's been 100% respectful of ace me (it's SO NICE not hearing "oh you just haven't tried it!", etc) but at the same time i know he's hurting and needs release. i don't know what to do or if i should feel bad for not being able to or if i should try to anyway but at the same time i just DO NOT WANT IT. idk i just needed to acevent sry
Ah heck don’t feel bad! And it’s so nice you have someone like that who respects your asexuality! I hate to say I’m probably not the best person to give advice, but unless you’re sex-repulsed you could try it with him? If things go south I’m sure he’d understand completely, just be sure to let him know how you feel at all times. Communication is important! If you are sex-repulsed however, I’m sure he can get… er, things, to help him with his personal needs. Or has he tried already?
