So update I guess? I’m still active over on Twitter and I haven’t even opened up Tumblr in like a month and a half because of all the stuff it has been pulling. It’s a bummer because I really prefer this layout to Twitter but it’s ruined itself for me (also the Twitter app is ridiculously easy to use)
Moved out and got an apartment with my sis, both working full time jobs, been drawing very sparsely and forgetting to post it on here, I now have three rats (rest in peace little Ratthew), and I’ll be at Kumoricon in a few weeks as a gigantic centipede (Centipeder from BNHA)

Just fyi I haven’t checked Tumblr in like a week and may not get around to it much anymore unless things improve (porn bots have returned and things are still buggy as heck)
If you want/need to tell/show me something then please please please tell me through the chat, an ask, or better yet, @ me on Twitter because Tumblr sure doesn’t tell you if someone has or not

Pinterest is a site that benefits from stolen content and makes it particularly hard to get stuff removed. I gave up trying because I spent hours reporting hundreds of posts there and it took them weeks to remove them, and then people just uploaded them again and were still uploading while I was waiting for results. Pinterest also fucks with google’s algorithms so when something is placed there, it will actually REPLACE the original source in search results. Many of my works that were stolen for products/sale happened because someone put it on Pinterest with no or little credit and someone found it that way.
If you find my work on Pinterest, please just tell the poster that they’re being a shithead (politely) but don’t tell me about it anymore because it just makes me depressed and tired.
Tl;dr I do not want my things on Pinterest or anywhere else and if I link someone posting my stuff on pinterest to a tumblr account then I will block them.
Don’t put artwork on Pinterest.
Don’t download artwork and then upload it anywhere else.If you want it on another site, ask the artist to put it there, or suck it up and live with not having it on absolutely every platform– why do you even need that? What’s the benefit? All you do is hurt the artist for whatever weird momentary convenience it gives you to have the art elsewhere. Link to it where it is.
Yeah, Pinterest sucks. Stop supporting it. I know it’s useful for refs and all but you are still supporting it and all the stolen content. Most of the time I can’t track the original source, that’s not okay.
Just saying, I do checks on some of my more popular works on Pinterest once in a while, and if I find it on there, I report it AND have your account stricken or flagged or whatever. I’m not tolerating that.
